Research interns will have the opportunity to work with a research associates and senior scholars on a range of pioneering research on Sri Lankan public policy issues. The ideal candidate is a recent graduate of economics/public policy from a reputed institute or someone looking to study economics or a related subject in the near future.
Advocata is seeking a driven and passionate individual to assist a dynamic communications program at the Institute. The ideal candidate is proficient in writing, social media, graphic design and video editing. We are looking for a passionate content creator who is able to translate complex ideas into simple consumable content both online and offline.
An excellent command of both written and spoken English is essential.
Advocata is seeking a blogger to contribute towards it’s digital content platforms on an on going basis primarily in the Sinhala language. The ideal candidate should be able to translate and adapt works in English into consumable content geared towards Sri Lankans that explains policy perspectives.
Prospective candidates should submit sample writings or links to their personal blogs at the time of application. Part-time candidates will be considered.
Video Editor (Part-time)
Advocata is seeking a part-time video editor to join it’s team to contribute towards it’s digital content efforts. As an organization committed to communicating research through new media, Advocata is constantly creating videos and other digital media to reach our target audiences.
Video editor will be tasked with editing simple content into consumable material on our social media platforms and websites.
